I’m Lyndsey, the director of Tribe.
I set up Tribe as I wanted to be in a welcoming and comfortable salon for EVERYONE.
I trained here in guernsey 28 years ago. I have worked in the UK, and before returning to Guernsey, I had a hair and beauty salon on the outskirts of Norwich. During my 28 years, I have won numerous competitions, including Redken instant looks.
I have had the pleasure to continue to learn alongside inspiring hair educators; I will never stop learning and pushing myself to try new things.
I love everything about hair and working with people to work out their hair goals and inspire them to help them express themselves.
I love colour and colour correction. My favourite things to do are scalp bleaching and full transformations.
I am so proud to be part of a salon that pioneered gender-neutral pricing and silent appointments on the island.
Above all else, the salon will always encourage uniqueness and embrace difference.
I have been doing hair for 12 years now and love it now more than ever! I love learning new things and it is never ending with hair at the moment. My favourite is colour, especially creating blondes- highlights, lowlights, baby lights, balayage etc. There are so many shades you can go, and I love finding the right one for my clients.
When I’m not working I love spending time with my family and friends. Watching films, going out for walks and occasionally if I have time a ballet class.
Hi I’m Jess
After moving to Guernsey in 2020, I completed my qualifications at GCFE and qualified over a year ago. Since then, I have completed many courses, including hair extensions. I am an extension specialist using Remi Cachet weft and tape methods. I love learning new methods, which is perfect in this industry as trends are forever changing. My favourite part of hairdressing is creating blended, dimensional colours like balayage and detailed foil work. Outside of work, I love long dog walks and trying all the different brunch spots.
I’m Chloe
I have been hairdressing for six years. I love that I get to meet new people, and every working day is different. I have undertaken many courses working with brands and celebrity stylists on the island and in the UK. My favourite part of the job is freehand colouring and, of course, fashion colour. The brighter, the better!
I’m Tia.
After doing beauty for a year at college, I decided that hairdressing was where my passion really was and transferred to the Hairdressing course at the College of FE. I started at Tribe in May 2022 doing work experience, then started full-time in July.
I love hairdressing; I am training to be a stylist doing four days in the salon and one day a week at college. I have already been lucky enough to do a wedding hair-up course with Tracey Pallari and an Afro hair course with evolution. I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing, especially cutting.
